Jamaican Coffee Crops hit hard by two years of Hurricans

Jamiacan Coffee has become unavailable for the time being. Due to the hurricanes over the past two years Jamaica has been hit hard. This has lead to a problem with the crops down there and shortages are now world wide. Word from the island is that they hope to have restored limited supplies by early March of 06. This will come after the crop from this year, which is limited, has been harvested and processed. Jamaican Coffee is probably one of the most labor and time consuming coffee's produced in the world. More information about how Jamaican Coffee is produced is available in a variety of formats on our website. From Video's to MP3 files we take you through the entire process of Jamaican Coffee Production. In our guided tour of the Mavis Bank Coffee Factory, you will find out just how long it takes to process and the many steps that are involved in producing the worlds most expensive coffee. If you have never seen how much goes into the production of great coffee these videos and audio files give you a interesting view into the production of coffee in general (as most of our great coffees are processed the same way).
